I'm not a big fan of subsidizing the making expensive physical goods that we are not sure will have a market (will the pictured glasses sell at ~$120? I'm a bit skeptical)

These were the best quality noggles that I have seen so far. Great people too!
The proposal was discussed within the Japanese sub-DAO "pNouns". The success stories within Nouns DAO have become a topic of conversation throughout Japan and will also work in favor of Nouns DAO!
voting yes because the japan community has been resilient and proven themselves. also think it continues to be a unique opportunity for nouns to grow overseas.
if they don't sell, consider creative ways to bring exposure to the product - lots of attention from the right folks is a currency that is attractive to the dao. if neither are accomplished, i'd vote against further development.

I have concerns over the ability sell 500 units of anything Nounish for over $100 USD given track record to date of Nouns branded products, many of which were well executed. I'd want to see a plan that outlines with conviction how these will be sold (not just where) and why you are confident you will sell them.
Why spend $7k on developing an online shop? I'd use the freely available off the shelf options here rather than reinvent the wheel. Just make more units with that money or allocate it to help sell through.
Voting Yes because Pnouns has kept at it, Japan has been uniquely successful for Nouns, and it's much better than the other spending Proposals, even if flawed. If these don't sell, I won't fund similar proposals.

Nouns is one of the most popular NFT IPs in Japan, attracting many people to the allure of Noggles. SubDAOs like pNouns , NounsDAO Japan, and NOUNS BASE have spontaneously formed, each with several hundred participants in their respective communities. With such a substantial community presence, it becomes feasible to market real Noggles to the general public through a brand strategy.
In collaboration with KISSO Corporation. , we have meticulously crafted a prototype by faithfully reproducing the dimensions of Nouns' ⌐◨-◨.
My organization, pNouns, introduced Proposal 228 which received support from Nouns DAO. I was responsible for overseeing the prototyping and development of the product. The prototype noggle received significant positive feedback. We believe that real noggle can build a substantial fanbase, and we are planning to bring “Noggle Changer” to market.
Components: Outer box, hard case, cloth, main body Material: Cellulose acetate Colors: 4 colors(Red, Gray, Yellow, Green) Size: Unisex Retail Price: 0.08 ETH (excluding shipping expenses) Production Quantity: 500 units (100 units reserved for management, etc.)
The product packaging will feature artwork by @KURAN, the creator of the NFT Collection "NOUNS BASE",thereby augmenting the allure and worth of the product. We intend to bolster the co-branding collaboration with Mr. KURAN's "NOUNS BASE" by emphasizing customer satisfaction, stringent quality control, and various appealing promotional items.

Production Management Costs encompass production expenses totaling 9 ETH for a minimum batch of 500 units, along with expenses related to promotional items, inventory management, and logistics.
These expenses cover the operational costs of the project, the development expenditures for the online shop, and promotional activities like event participation. Importantly, engaging directly with customers during events is anticipated to make a substantial contribution to raising awareness of Nouns!
We will sell the "Noggle Changer" on an online platform (with a sales period of approximately two weeks). The planned sales quantity is 400 units.

As a special pre-sale offer, Nouns DAO＆Sub-DAOs will be eligible for a discounted price of 0.05 ETH per unit. Our sales target is set at 200 units, aiming for a complete sell-out. However, to maintain scarcity, a purchase limit will be imposed on the Special Pre-Sale.
During the online sale period, when we reach 80% of the sales target, we will allocate 50% of the revenue to Nouns DAO.

By leveraging Nouns' IP and receiving support from Nouns DAO, we want to demonstrate the ability to launch a brand from scratch that utilizes Nouns' IP.
Through the commercialization of the product and market expansion, when we achieve 80% of the sales target, we will allocate half of the revenue to Nouns DAO, and the remaining half will be dedicated to the next fundraising for the "Noggle Changer."
