I'd like to begin by thanking Karl and Nic for their hard work and resilience in building with Nouns over this time. We all know how exhausting the proposal process can be, and you both keep coming back with revised versions, which is truly admirable. I also appreciate the voters who took the time to dig deep and research, especially Wylin and Bixbite, as well as the further discussions that helped me make my decision.

That said, I trust the proposers and encourage them to try again, but I align with others in feeling that the previous iteration of the sculpture felt more nounish than a simpler representation.

Thanks for Bixbite's detailed research. I understand that CAFA is an educational institution, while CAFAic is a state-owned enterprise owned and managed by CAFA. I believe the art installation could work well in either an educational or corporate setting - this isn't the key issue. What matters is whether it can bring positive value to Nouns.

However, considering other voters' opinions, I'm concerned that this installation would be in a semi-closed environment with limited exposure. While current promotional exposure can be achieved through online channels, not just through a physical installation. I notice the proposer has done two similar projects before (489, 570) that also displayed the noggles image through installations. Recently Xiaohongshu has become very popular, but when I searched for NounsDAO on Xiaohongshu and Douyin, I didn't find much user interaction. I'm unsure if a similar approach would create different promotional results.

Personally, I prefer geeky, cutting-edge innovation, especially related to crypto frontiers. If something isn't highly innovative, I focus on ROI and outstanding growth metrics. But this is just my preference and doesn't mean I don't recognize the proposer's work. Their past work is still commendable. Respect.

I was quite surprised by some of the responses to this proposal. I have personally met and worked with Karl on the Bali Nouns Week project last year. His passion, dedication and trust in building Nouns is unquestionable. Moreover, Karl and Hash have been very successful in realizing proposals 211, 489, 570, 652. In this proposal Karl and Hash have made revisions from the previous proposal and I feel this proposal can bring students and lecturers interest in Nouns. Builders who have special abilities like Karl and Hash should be supported!

Even if i like last reimagined ⌐◨-◨ version this one is more recognizable and like the place where is being built as it seems very fitting

I personally preferred the character and spirit of the previously proposed cubicle over this. Good to see an inaugural event connected to it too. Love the concept of a university club in this context. If possible, it would nice to engage on a regular basis, e.g. through essays, discussion forums, etc.

This is one of the most subversive Nouns props I have ever seen. A beacon of decentralized free markets in this location.

Nouns is a global brand, that means we have to be willing to go the extra mile when reviewing proposals to understand the different laws, customs and politics of the proposers, and not just review things from our objective lens.... that being said, I just spent the last 4 hours reviewing this proposal & reaching out to business colleagues I have from China.... here are my objective findings:

but when you are choosing the search results you have to click advance and choose China Search Engine 2 in Chinese and type in 北京中央美术学院资产经营管理有限公司 which returns the results for Beijing Central Academy of Fine Arts Asset Management Co., Ltd.

..... and because I had to be 100% certain I purchased the business registration report which shows Identification, directors, shareholders, UBO etc.... (happy to send to anyone that wants to see the document)

I also used an ai reverse image search to confirm the location of the photo in the proposal of the proposed location which indeed matches the location of No. 1 Yumin Street, Houshayu Town, Shunyi District, Beijing

Overall I will say I am very disappointed with the presentation of questions stated as facts, which I believe is harming this proposals outcome..... Google searching anything related to China shows lack of effort because Google in banned in China. Also, as shown above when you are searching for terms in English and not in Chinese the results will vary.... so from an English speaking Americans point of view, they may not be 'marketing properly' - but maybe we should consider we are not the target audience so not all of their materials may be translated for us.

Karl & HashConfucius are respected Nounish builders who have already delivered on previous proposals, not sure why they are being treated as new community members with zero social credit (thats my opinion of how they are being treated)

If you are not keen on physical installations, vote against the proposal, but if you are voting against because you believe details of the proposal were not valid, I would urge you to reread my findings.

While we appreciate the intent to grow Nouns' presence in China's art world, we're voting against this prop. The ROI feels unclear - 90k+ USDC is a significant investment for what's essentially a static installation. Would love to see proposals that drive more direct community engagement and measurable growth for the ecosystem. Let's innovate a bit more on the traditional public art displays strategy 🎨

The proposal lacks a clear financial return mechanism and measurable impact metrics. While it aims to enhance brand visibility, the financial expenditure of 90,760 USDC plus a Noun NFT is substantial without a guaranteed ROI. The proposal's strategic value and innovation are not compelling enough to justify the cost, especially given the current financial challenges faced by Nouns DAO.
