Supporting Decentralized Contributions
As someone who believes that Client Incentives and similar projects are the right direction for contributions to the Nounish ecosystem (bringing more decentralization and carving out new niches) I've always advocated for compensating contributors based on the value they bring, rather than on promises.
Open Source: Ensuring Security and Flexibility
The project will be open source (OSS), accessible to everyone once development is finalized. This aligns with Ethereum's values of open source for two key reasons: (i) making the code inspectable to ensure security, and (ii) reducing the risk of proprietary lock-in while enabling permissionless third-party improvements.
Contributions to the Nounish Ecosystem
I've worked on quite number of projects and different DAOs within the Nounish ecosystem over the past few years, with most of my work available on Lil Nouns as open-source projects.
Worth mentioning, I've been part of the Lil Nouns community for years, mostly engaging in Nouns governance through Lil Nouns meta governance via token weight. If you haven't experienced it yet or don’t own a Noun, I'd recommend diving in. It's quite the ride.
Officially, I became a Nouner on day 256 of this year (fittingly, Programmer's Day) with Noun 1245, aka "Hello Noun". Hoping I can keep contributing to the ecosystem in whatever ways I can going forward.
