π¨ Noundry: Add Sneaker Head

Activity
My Shrimp Tempura is one of Amiyoko san's works and I am proud to own it. Amiyoko's dead traits works always have their own βsoulβ. Although I actually want to see the selection of head traits as a competition. But the head of this snreakerhead is also good!
Iβm a sneaker head at heart but this silhouette does not do it for me, sorry
Letβs make new traits abundant, but letβs consider contents in the future
Generally agreed with those voting against based on the compensation- particularly about the precedent of rewarding with a noun. That said, as a freelance musician for many years, I am painfully aware that you can't eat NFTs or Exposure.
Not sure if I agree with a full price of a noun for a trait, but still giving this a hesitant Yes. Would be much more in favor with a slightly lowered compensation. (somewhere on the low end of recent nouns auctions, maybe 2.7-2.8 ish, since I do think it's fair to say this trait could induce someone to buy a noun who may not otherwise)
i like your art but i understand the size of the asks
Good trait, but a new head trait is not worth $8k

This shoe vibrates between being heavy and nimble, in motion and fixed in place like an oversized sculpture. I like it.

Trait is nounish, but (imo) not worth the value of a whole noun. Even if props should be compensated, we should do so with a treasury noun rather than treasury eth, since itβs more aligned.
This is a great looking trait and a cool concept. I like the idea of rewarding contributing artists in $nouns, but also do not always understand why "art" proposals are often perceived as "too expensive". The value of good design can often 10x a project/venture. Lets keep this in mind.
I really like this trait, surprised the design is getting so much negative feedback. As 4156 said in his vwr, I think having quirky inanimate objects in the collection is part of what makes nouns interesting and sets the collection apart from every other 10k animal pfp. Anyway, I see this won't like pass but hopefully Amiyoko-san can try another iteration of the art and prop soon.

After Nouns Town, almost everyone probably knows how much I love cassette tapes :) I like skateboards too. And this sneaker. I personally wish this was a little more inspired by the three stripes... but there's likely the right time for this too. Let's chat, amiyoko.
It's also a weird time for submitting traits. It seems like y'all found the secret recipe to make great artworks for traits. But we haven't figured out how to actually make use of them and properly promote the new artwork. Perhaps it's time to reset and go back to a more orchestrated traits release for a season.
i like this trait. it feels very offbeat and nounish. i think animal heads are easy wins and it's nice to focus on adding less naturally charming nouns to the collection. i hope that you'll iterate on this and re-propose!

sqx.pcc | "traits have gotten out of hand IMO. dao is on a path to 0 in more ways than one. and this is an attack on the dao. IMO. 6 Ξ a month to prop pixels. not a bad gig if you can get it."

lets run more trait contests and less ad-hoc trait additions. I think we'd see more people participating if the ask + outcomes are more clear
I like the sneaker head and the logic for adding it.
nonetheless, I can't support one-off trait props; it's too inefficient. would much prefer to see traits added periodically via contests as well as rewards for winners paid with $NOUNS.
I have a thing for sneakers and sneakerheads (literally XD) are a subculture worth having in Nouns. I'm also fatigued by all the recent trait activity, but I'm making an exception here because of this group of people this is targeting.

Hey Amiyoko~ So, looking back this will be your 5th submission in 6 months..? two of the 4 already passing.. Like I said in my vwr for tummlin's elephant i'm kinda over voting on traits for a bit. I feel like they're being rapidly proposed and i'm not sure what the benefit is for the dao really if we're not using this as a way to onboard more folks in some way.. Appreciate the ask being in eth and not a noun, but going to abstain here and let the other voters decide.
I like the design but following the precedent of the past I believe the compensation should be a Noun from the treasury vs the ETH. Would be a Yes if the compensation request is changed.

Appreciate the work but Iβm not feeling the sneaker. Seems very straightforward and lacking the whimsical nature of the heads.
The proposal primarily focuses on adding a new visual trait to the Nouns collection, which is a creative and cultural enhancement. However, the proposal lacks detailed financial information, specific ROI, or clear impact metrics that are accessible for evaluation. The key information is presented in URLs and images that are not accessible for review, making it difficult to assess the full scope and impact of the proposal.
Shoe love is true love, but this trait still leaves us longing.
Side note - Weβd love to see another trait competition for these entries - missed opportunity to onboard new artists, market across social platforms, and only requires one backend update, just to name a few benefits.
