It seems like y'all found the secret recipe to make great artworks for traits! We haven't figured out how to actually make use of them and properly promote the new artwork.
Perhaps it's time to reset and go back to a more orchestrated traits release for a season.
Sorry, tummlin- i'm personally kinda over adding traits for a bit... feels like they've been coming at a rapid pace recently. Would abstain but also have mentioned this in the past — We can't gift more nouns to members who don't consistently vote- it just makes it harder for hitting quorum and isn't fun to have to message people to vote. Would prefer eth ask unless you become more active as a voter or delegate (preferably to new voters).

Personally would be more interested if the ears and snout were of different proportions and symmetry. Also feels 10-15% too large overall, for my taste, respectfully.

I do echo the feedback left by many that it would be nice to see someone spearhead semi-regular contests for traits to be added to the collection so that they can be judged relatively and compensated fairly, without unnecessary governance fatigue.
This one is clean can we not run a competition or a season of new traits? I feel like we can do a hype video or something to promote the new traits and bring in that energy, one offs seem crazy to me.

this is my fav trait prop that i've seen
nonetheless, I can't support one-off trait props requesting nouns for comp; it's too inefficient. would much prefer to see traits added periodically via contests as well as rewards for winners paid with $NOUNS.

I appreciate the work you put into this. I saw you iterating on Farcaster. I personally love everything except the tusk. I have asked a few people to look and tell me what the white spot is and they suggest a mouth. Would be a Yes if tusk was removed.
I actually love it! But as I've said in the past, I'm no voting "for" if the proposer wants a noun as reward. Payment I'd agree with tho, not saying artists should not be payed.

This proposal adds a new head trait: Elephant
Elephants are awesome - we all know that. They are majestic, intelligent and deeply emotional creatures. But in culture, the pink elephant is generally linked to the surreal and absurd, often a symbol of the irrationality that comes from intoxication and hallucinations, a break from reality that can distort perception. Yet, what if such visions, while unusual, represent the birth of bold, imaginative ideas? A person can dream up an idea that seems fantastical, even impossible, but with enough belief and shared vision, that 'hallucination' can become a powerful force for change. When others buy into this shared vision, it transforms from a whimsical thought into a reality that can make the world better. In this way, hallucinations, whether metaphorical or literal, can be reframed as the seeds of revolutionary ideas, inspiring collective action and positive impact. This is why I believe the pink elephant makes an ideal candidate for inclusion in the Nouns collection.
I have deep love for all Nouns designs, even the "ugly" ones. But I guess the style I'm drawn to the most is the more silly and absurd. After struggling early to create a design that incorporated the full enormous elephant body, it was only when i decided to make the elephant pink that i truly felt I was on the right path. I loved updating the community on my progress, receiving lots of helpful feedback a long the way. I especially appreciated a response from Messhup, pushing me to embrace the more playful side of Nouns art.

If this proposal is passed, I would like to receive Noun 337 as compensation in exchange for the added head trait. For me, receiving a Noun is about showing my long-term commitment to the community. I believe in its future success, and having a stake in that future is important to me. While USDC or ETH is an option, I prefer Nouns because they represent alignment with the community’s growth, and they would motivate me to participate more as I learn.
