We propose an ambitious global initiative connecting traditional Japanese art with the innovative world of Web3 and NounsDAO. This project seeks to create Nounish-themed Kitpas products, establish a global network of immersive workshops, and develop interactive digital spaces to foster community engagement. Our goal is to build bridges between cultures through art, enhancing accessibility and creating a sustainable ecosystem driven by creativity.

Since our initial proposal in March 2024 to launch the Nounish Kitpas Workshop Tour in Illinois, our efforts have continued to make a lasting impact, resonating with children across workshops in Japan, thanks to the unwavering support of the Nouns ecosystem. Noted by news outlets such as (Local Shizuoka Paper) and The Pekin Daily Times, we successfully managed to initiate a promising relationship with our effort to forge an international link between Japan and the city of Pekin. With our shared philosophy of upholding values such as creativity, culture, and inclusivity, our commitment to transforming spaces and minds has been the cornerstone of our mission, resulting in meaningful and enriching experiences for every participant involved.

Building on this success, we are excited to present a new proposal that continues to align with the core values of NounsDAO: Public Good, CC0, Proliferation, and Having Fun. This proposal aims to develop a new line of Kitpas art materials specifically designed with Nounish colors and branding, alongside innovative tools and workshops that will make creative expression accessible to a wider and more diverse audience. This audience includes children and communities in the United States, particularly in areas where arts programs have been cut or severely impacted by reduced funding; For artists with colorblindness in Japan and the US. Development of tools to support artists.

By expanding these educational initiatives and promoting widespread ambassadorship, we seek not only to enhance the visibility and impact of the Nouns brand but also to create a global community of creativity and cultural exchange. Our objective is to serve multiple communities, bridging gaps through art and imagination, while ensuring that the spirit of Nounish creativity is accessible to all, regardless of geographical location or ability.

Nounish Kitpas Workshop Ecosystem: Refined Proposal for NounsDAO

Executive Summary

The Nounish Kitpas Workshop Ecosystem is an ambitious global initiative connecting the essence of traditional Japanese art with the decentralized innovation of Web3 and NounsDAO. This proposal aims to create Nounish-themed Kitpas products, establish a global network of immersive workshops, and develop interactive digital spaces to foster community engagement and cultural exchange. This project embodies “Nounish” values: creative connection, inclusivity, and decentralized community building—offering both practical, scalable growth and broad value recognition. With a budget of $70,400, this project will not only amplify the Nouns brand but also expand its influence by bridging cultural gaps through artistic expression and decentralized creativity. We aim to empower individuals from all walks of life, including children, artists, and communities, by making creative tools accessible and engaging.

Key Objectives

Create a Global Network of Nounish Workshops featuring Nounish Kitpas art products. ・Develop a Rewashable Physical Coloring Book NFT and associated user interface. ・Integrate with Digital Gallery Spaces (e.g., Farcaster Gallery) to foster global community interaction and participation. ・Enhance Accessibility for the colorblind Impaired by creating inclusive tools and resources.

Planned Marketing & Sales Strategy (Section A)

Market Research:

Target Audience: This project serves multiple communities—schools, parents, artists, visually impaired communities, and art enthusiasts. The audience spans across geographic locations (Japan, the U.S., Europe, etc.), aiming to revitalize areas where arts programs have diminished or been cut altogether. ・Competition: While there are decentralized art projects in the Web3 space, none offer the unique blend of physical art tools (Kitpas) and immersive Web3 integration that bridges physical and digital creativity, all with a clear social impact.

Sales and Marketing Channels:

1.Workshops: We will introduce Nounish Kitpas through workshops, building brand familiarity and engagement.

2.Online Sales Platforms: Kitpas products, especially the Nounish 24-color kits, will be available for purchase globally via e-commerce platforms and targeted Web3 marketplaces.

3.Social Media & Influencers: Leverage influencers, local educators, and community leaders to promote the workshops and Nounish Kitpas products.

4.Community Involvement: The Nounish color selection will involve the community, encouraging participants to feel ownership over the product. This not only drives brand loyalty but also increases creative input.

Sales Strategy & Pricing Model:

Pricing: Competitive pricing with Kitpas’ existing products, with a slight premium for the Nounish theme and added value of community engagement. ・Revenue Streams: Workshop fees, sales of Kitpas sets, and digital interaction via the rewashable NFT coloring book.

This model is designed to sustain the project financially while offering long-term growth and value through community involvement and scalable product distribution.

Our objective is to serve multiple communities, bridging gaps through art and imagination, while ensuring that the spirit of Nounish creativity is accessible to all, regardless of geographical location or ability.

What?

The Nounish Workshops Ecosystem is a self-sustaining framework comprising several interconnected components: Nounish Kitpas materials, an innovative coloring book featuring Nouns-themed illustrations, the Farcaster Gallery for digital artwork sharing, and the workshops themselves as dynamic, evolving hubs of creativity and learning. Each component is designed with dual utility, functioning both as a standalone entity and as an integral part of the larger network. This multi-layered approach ensures that every element contributes to the ecosystem's resilience, adaptability, and ability to scale.

What For?

The purpose of this ecosystem is to create a global network of Kitpas instructors and workshops that transcend geographic, cultural, and technological boundaries. By fostering a decentralized community of instructors and participants, the workshops aim to initiate a worldwide exchange of traditions, beliefs, and creative insights. This network not only provides a platform for cultural and artistic expression but also serves as a conduit for deeper understanding and connection between diverse communities.

Through the Nounish Kitpas Workshop Ecosystem, we intend to:

1.Promote Cultural Exchange: Facilitating interactions between diverse communities through art, enhancing mutual understanding and appreciation.

2.Enhance Accessibility and Inclusivity: Developing creative tools and workshops that are accessible to individuals of all abilities, ensuring that everyone can participate and express themselves.

3.Build a Sustainable Creative Network: Establishing a scalable model for workshops and exhibitions that can expand to new locations and communities while retaining the core values of the initiative.

4.Bridge Cultures: Facilitate meaningful cultural exchange and collaboration, allowing participants from different backgrounds to share their unique perspectives and learn from one another in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding.

5.Promote Nounish Values: Amplify the core principles of NounsDAO—Public Good, CC0, Proliferation, and Having Fun—by integrating them into every aspect of the workshops, materials, and digital tools.

How?

The ecosystem operates through a network of synergistic components:

Nounish Themed Workshops: Targeting schools, libraries, and community centers, these workshops engage children, parents, and educators in creative activities that promote the use of Kitpas materials. They serve as the entry point for participants, creating hands-on experiences that foster artistic expression and cultural exchange.

Nounish and Traditional Japanese Colors & Kitpas Color Confirmation & AccessabilityTool : A specially developed set of Kitpas colors and packaging that merges the aesthetic values of NounsDAO with the tradition and vibrancy of Japanese culture. These materials are designed to inspire creativity while ensuring accessibility for diverse users, including those with color vision impairments utilizing a web browser accessible tool designed specifically for use case of capturing, translating and confirming accurate color value.

Farcaster Gallery: A decentralized digital platform where participants can upload, showcase, and exchange their artwork. This gallery not only provides a space for creative display but also acts as a feedback loop, driving engagement and fostering a sense of community among participants.

NounsDAO Themed Kitpas Specialized Coloring Book: A reusable, interactive coloring book that leverages synthetic paper and QR code technology to facilitate continuous engagement and digital sharing through the Farcaster Gallery.

Each element within this ecosystem is strategically interlinked to support the others, creating a self-reinforcing cycle that enhances the overall impact and reach of the initiative. The workshops feed into the gallery, the gallery promotes the coloring book, the book enhances the use of Kitpas materials, and the materials, in turn, fuel the workshops—each component amplifying and supporting the next.

Significance of this Opportunity

We are profoundly grateful to the Nouns community for their unwavering support in enabling the realization of this vision. This opportunity transcends the mere logistics of material production, travel and workshops—it is a bridge between cultures, communities, and philosophies, seamlessly connecting the creativity and compassion embedded within both Web2 and Web3.

The decision to support this initiative is not only a testament to the Nouns DAO's commitment to social good but also to the broader Nounish philosophy that values impact over immediate monetary return. By covering the expenses of this trip, Nouns DAO has empowered us to take significant strides toward creating a self-sustaining model that will ensure not only the survival and flourishing of art programs in schools worldwide, but invaluable opportunities for artists with color vision impairments to create with confidence and without experiencing the obstacles they typically face.

Tagawa's Vision and Kitpas’ Growth: This collaboration is not just about expanding Kitpas internationally; it’s about deepening our commitment to social good. The Kitpas workshops are designed not only to introduce children to the joy of creativity but also to provide meaningful employment to individuals with special needs in Japan. This partnership with Nouns allows us to bring this mission to a global stage, underscoring the importance of inclusivity, empathy, and community in both art and life.

Midas as the First Overseas Instructor and Ambassador: Midas’s role as the first overseas-certified Kitpas instructor and ambassador marks a historic moment for both Kitpas and Nouns. His training in Japan, under the guidance of Tagawa, Fukasawa, Unno, and interpreter Kinako, will equip him with the expertise needed to carry forward the Nounish vision in a way that resonates deeply with both local and international communities. This role is not merely ceremonial; it is the cornerstone of our efforts to bring the Nounish philosophy of creativity, inclusivity, and community to life in every workshop, every classroom, and every interaction.

Onboarding Kitpas to Web3 in a Nounish Way: By supporting this initiative, Nouns DAO is helping to onboard Kitpas and its workshops to Web3 in a truly Nounish way. This is more than just a convergence of platforms; it is the integration of values. Together, we are creating a new paradigm where art and technology coalesce to uplift communities, inspire creativity, and provide opportunities for those who are often overlooked.

A Vision for the Future: With each phase of our initiative, we are moving closer to a self-sustaining model that can serve as a beacon of hope for schools around the world, particularly those that have lost or are at risk of losing their arts programs. For schools in Uganda, the donations are just the beginning of this opportunity to thrive creatively. We envision a future where the Nouns DAO and the broader Web3 community can come together to inspire and nurture the creative youth of the world.

This opportunity is more than just a project; it is a movement towards a world where creativity, compassion, and community thrive in abundance. We are deeply grateful to the Nouns community for believing in this vision and for supporting us as we work to bring it to life. Together, we are not just building workshops; we are building bridges—bridges that connect hearts, minds, and worlds in ways that will resonate for generations to come. —---------------------
