the only 2 reasons I'm voting FOR is because I had a genuine and fun "WTF" moment when I read the title, it's low cost and either way the output will be fun to reference.
Definetly +for the idea as think it puts WTF in Nouns.wtf but more research on legal advise and projections would be appreciate it from me to be tottaly onboard
I do love the idea of Nouns funding educational initiatives, but think that this one is too far from a core mission of public goods

peterpandam | "sounds fun, gl with your nuclear reactor ⌐◨-◨"
lunarifps | "absolutely ✨️ravenous✨️ truly unmatched - watch out for my next prop soon: turning my web2 job's ice machine into a machine that only dispenses noggle-shaped flavorless jelly cubes (with one line of chatgpt code)"
benbodhi | "This is weird and cool."
AGAINST - 33 VOTES
robotfishgirl | *"1) what
honestly part of me wants to vote For for the meme, but as it is this prop kinda goes beyond interesting weird into trolling, at least for me. Getting ANY advice from an LLM without doing actual research (and citing verifiable sources) is a giant crimson flag all on its own."*
profwerder | "Where do I start? No idea if this is legal but assuming there will be issues there. Also -- the prop is lacking in specificity to say the least. And how does this benefit nouns? no -- just no"

Hey Yasin, I appreciate the new details about this proposal. While I believe everyone should pursue their creative and experimenting self, I don't think it makes sense to fund this as is: a risk-free experiment with no attachments might end up as a sponsored new hobby with no expectations of success. I'd happily support a proposal with clear expectations and evidence that this could be an actual project.
I support this proposal because it embodies the innovative and exploratory spirit that NounsDAO stands for. Backing ambitious, open-source projects like the Nounfusor can lead to groundbreaking advancements and inspire others to think outside the box. However, I recognize that the proposal could benefit from more detailed planning and clearer deliverables. Addressing these weaknesses would strengthen the project and increase its potential for success.

Feel like if we expect people to proliferate the nouns meme, we should embrace the opportunity to proliferate adjacent memes (if it makes sense). The proposer has bought multiple nouns and has been proliferating the nouns meme and therefore this could make sense imo.
Like the idea of an open source project, not sure if replicating the other guy's project(albeit very cool)
Would love a little more thoughtful proposal detailing plans to more introduce individuals and science interested people to nouns and fusion technology rather then just mostly fund someone to recreate the project with the website being in the background.

Sick experiment, but we shouldn't fund it. Not in this form of a proposal. Down to fund real science experiments that come to Nouns. In fact, that would be a sick new vertical for us.
Come to us with a plan for how the world will know it wasn't CERN or the best scientists of our time that cracked fusion, it was ⌐◨-◨
An odd proposal at first glance but I think it’s fun and beneficial to make more open projects around this, and would love to see it supported by nouns. Supporting a grassroots project that’s kinda weird and out there, with a modest budget, I don’t have a reason to say no. I’ll be following along.
Slightly confused by this one and the goals. Lofty on one side but light on details, maybe I’m too new
Hello everyone, A few days ago, I saw a post on Twitter.
I then researched how to create a nuclear fusor at home using ChatGPT. As a software and mechatronics engineer, I have some videos about math and string theory on my youtube channel.
I understand that we need a vacuum pump and a high voltage generator for deuterium nouns fusion.
Once I will purchase this vaccum pump , I can complete all the other electronic circuits myself. After that, I will share all project details on my GitHub and YouTube channels.
Then anyone will be able to create their own helium generator at home.
This reactor will feature a design inspired by a "nounish" theme.
ı just need 3 eth for this Nounish fusion reactor.
