lunari: against, I do think it makes Nouns unique to even be able to make a retroactive change to art like this, but I think it would be even more interesting lore that despite having this power, we choose not to fix these imperfections

in photography, there's a phrase we use for a limiting concept called "pixel-peeping" as to say we're zooming in so far into the image attempting to fix and find perfection, when the difference to the story, feeling, & expression is all but imperceptible

I say let those pixels stay (for the story xD) (especially for the old/retroactive ones)

katalyyst: against +1 lunari, I feel like the errors are not egregious. it's like kintsugi, the mistakes and kinks to the art is part of the item's story right? plus people already own these guys, should it be the right of the collective to retroactively edit what others already own and identify with?

my vote against has nothing to do with whether or not the collection should be editable. it has to do with the changes not being sufficiently important to the appearance of the art to make a difference. imo its the imperfections that makes art interesting. nouns are no different.

I tend to agree with Jarmen on this issue, which I hadnt really considered before he brought up the view..... I dont think it's right to change the art on items that were already purchased, at least not in bulk.... I see some people are okay with 1-2 trait changes, but voicing criticism against.... I would suggest perhaps a snapshot vote for the individual traits then push the ones onchain that have the most consensus vs this bulk update.

Agree on leaving out the nouns text. Still voting for because the idea of the collection being editable by the DAO brings an interesting edge to nouns - the infinite work of art!
