Voting against for the reason I provided in my signal against. I hope the proposing team can quickly rework & revise if possible, if not perhaps a future event with a more impactful collaboration (such as sponsoring bounties, having workshops, panel speaking slot etc)

This is a pretty cheap sponsorship and would be nice to see some deeper nouns integration and merch there. But for this cost to gather a bunch of nounish builders at a nouns sponsored Ethereum event, I'm down. Love the Yucatan too, rad place to hold this.
I agree with others, I like the idea but I feel like the nouns component is a little generic.

I’m voting in favor of this proposal and would like to express our deep appreciation for all the comments and feedback we've received. We’ve learned a great deal from this process, not only about the proposal procedure but also about what the DAO members are looking for in future collaborations.
For next year, we’re planning to organize another event where we will incorporate a more impactful activation, including rounds to create a lot of buzz, a dedicated booth, collaboration to promote the event, and plenty of Nounish merch. We are excited about the potential for a more meaningful presence and are committed to making it happen.
Thank you all for your valuable insights; they have been instrumental in shaping our future plans.
We support building and supporting the Nounish community in Mexico but also hear others' desire for more specific nounish flavor in the prop.
Personally I am not really interested in conference sponsorships as a category, and am not swayed enough by this proposal to vote counter to that.

The Ethereum Mexico community is organizing a 2 day event in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico from September 13-14, 2024. The event called Ethereum México 2024 is a two-day event featuring talks, workshops, and networking opportunities. We are requesting $8,000 USDC ($5,000 for the sponsorship package and the rest to retroactively award 10 mexican nounish builders travel expenses that go to the event and perform nounsih activationss).
Ethereum México is a community-driven initiative focused on enhancing the Ethereum ecosystem in Mexico by educating individuals about blockchain technology and promoting Ethereum's core values. Our primary goal is to inspire and empower the next generation of Ethereum enthusiasts, developers, and innovators. Our flagship event, Ethereum México 2024, aims to bring together over 600 participants in Mérida, Yucatán, including developers, students, entrepreneurs, investors, and enthusiasts. This event is crucial for our region as it provides an opportunity to significantly improve the quality of life for many Mexicans. By fostering professional development through study, research, and training in the Ethereum ecosystem, we believe we can create a positive and lasting impact.
