Voting yes not really for the governance participation since there are many many who have done similar if not more in that area but for overall contributions to the space which are extensive.

i met will at a dinner, talked about nouns for hours, thought “what a nounish human”, and delegated the next day. it has been incredible to see will become further nouns pilled by engaging in our governance and i agree that this noun is very much deserving. thanks for all the energy and love you’ve put into nouns!

Easy Y vote. Will Papper extends the "pay it forward" culture that most of us have benefited from in the startup world to crypto. There are many times where Will's helped me during my first year in crypto. And I know I'm not the only one. Forever thankful 🫶

Outside of being a character fit for the type of person I'd like to see more of within the greater crypto community, Will's also a consistent and considerate voter, and has been with us for a while under delegation. Let's make it real ⌐◨-◨

Although I am not a fan of one off proposals to gift Nouns, I preferred the Prop House rounds, I am voting for this proposal because of Will's contributions to governance. I believe he will put the Noun to good use and continue to vote vs letting it collect dust in his wallet.

I haven't been as bullish on giving out t-nouns as most other people but Will is perhaps the most deserving person to ever be nominated for a noun.

In short, I believe that Nouns has a unique role in the ecosystem as a gathering place around public goods. I also believe that Nouns should not be afraid to advocate for recognition of this role, since further awareness of Nouns as a gathering place for public goods directly leads to more like-minded contributors.

I aim to realize this mission through my VWR philosophy (supporting public goods, advocating for greater recognition for Nouns, and questioning when something is not a public good but is trying to look like one). I also come from an engineering perspective and have been writing smart contracts in production for multiple years, so I will offer technical perspectives as well (especially on software proposals). I aim to spend more time on proposals where my view is unique, and sometimes act as an observer on proposals where I feel that I don’t have much new to add.

I’ve helped introduce new communities to Nouns, particularly the GLITCH community of artists via Prop #399 (https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/399). A majority of the artists at the residency had not heard of Nouns, and typically turned to the EU or investors for funding. Our work with them led to 33 props for our Prop House round (https://prop.house/0xd7744ae5e63d702e3e9f437943e530fae6c0cb4f), ranging from carbon offsets for virtual forests to privacy-related performance art at Art Basel to mechanical plants that “photosynthesize” ETH to commission new works. Most of these proposals were from artists who were new to the Nouns community, and now see how they can both contribute to and receive contributions from Nouns.

While I would be grateful to receive this Noun, I also understand that we’re still creating new norms around treasury Nouns. I am excited to continue to contribute to Nouns, whichever way this proposal goes. I’m so glad to be a part of this amazing community.

Will is one of my favorite thinkers in not only Nouns, but in all of the entire ecosystem.

His votes are always measured, interesting, forward-thinking, and full of feedback for both the proposer and future proposers.
