Throwing weight behind zero weight votes with reason.
Tagawa-San and Kinako-San came on TNS multiple times this week to talk about their vision for this proposal and I think it’s a no-brainer to support. Art education is Nounish, and it will also be nice for Tagawa’s beautiful piece to get some more exposure recognition as well. Please document the trip well in photos and video because I think this story will be a great one to share!
tagawa-san is very nounish, hopefully there can be good documentation and outputs to proliferate these impacts/actions online as well
The Amigos made a decision!

ferusoria | "For an artist it is often difficult to get funding to show his art, however the proposal is aligned with Nounish values and I think that support is important so that the vision of Nouns continues to proliferate, it also already has proof of Work so I think it's a good proposal."
mczm3ro | "I think the work he does from art to autism is valuable. I like to think as an artist about the possibility of generating social dynamics through creative work. Although the fact of doing it in NYC is possibly related to the presentation of his work, I think the activations he does will be good. I feel that his searches are sincere and looking at his previous proposals I think he will do a great job."

0xmonografia | "There isn't enough information and a clear reason to do it all in NYC (vs. in Japan, given the proposer's location). I'd support a more solid prop focused on local workshops in Japan. The art looks great, though!"

peterpandam | *"I like the Nounish Art workshops but not so much the deliverables in NYC. IRL Art Exhibits are not interesting to me and I think the network effect they may have is hard to judge.
Presenting and sharing Nouns at a school art event but would it move the meter at all? Are we hoping to convert professors and teachers or just create awareness of other Nounish activities?
If the success metrics were more clear I could vote yes but as it stands I'm only in support of the Art workshops for children because it's a good cause and charitable in nature."*

+1 to Seneca
In person gatherings are valuable, documentation of those in person gatherings is excellent. Excited to see this come to fruition!
GG, well played!

Cant wait to see Tagawa travel to the states to share his art and bring Nouns along for the trip. Good luck on your adventure, Tagawa!

would like to see a bit more of a focus on documenting the entire process + distribution of said media. otherwise, v nounish. make us proud!
Love the spirit of this proposal. Art is a universal language. Hope we can get this to Los Angeles in the near future!
Art touches the soul. Keep the love and creativity flowing to the kids of all ages. Have fun!
From what I understand, translation was a difficulty in crafting this prop.
Tagawa is on X spaces every single day, either from his personal account or from The Noun Square Open Mic account, hosting spaces to build international bridges.
He’s personally connected me to people in Japan in the vertical agriculture industry, including professionals at the University where the most robust research for how we grow berries has been conducted; and I’ve been witness to the international bridges he and others from Nouns Japan & PNouns are building.
Similar to my sentiments around Bali Nouns Week, there are maybe things I would do differently in this prop, and definitely things that have been lost in translation.
Based on my interactions with Tagawa and the caliber of people that seem to be in his network, I trust his ability to over-deliver from what is written.
Let’s make 2024 the year of international & IRL connections.

Hello. My name is Makoto Tagawa, a painter.
I'm an artist who creates art programs for children and children with autism. (Please view this video on our art and autism ↗)
I'm travelling from Japan to America with my partner to share my art, and I'm bringing Nouns along! We will be making three stops on our trip:
Nounish art workshops at local elementary schools, libraries, and more in Illinois.
"Pop Pop TOKYO": Our Nouns themed painting will be exhibited in Times Square during NFT NYC.
Give a presentation on the activities of the Pray for Peace Collection funded by Nouns Prop House at a school institution in New York City!
We would like to raise funds for travel expenses to hold workshops where we will draw with children on the theme of Nouns and to implement Nounish activities with people we have met online through WEB3 and Nouns.
The details of what we will be doing are as follows. ⌐◨-◨ 🔥.
Drawing workshops will be held with children using environmental solid marker kitpas.
⭕️ To commemorate this event, we will develop a limited package of Nounish Kitpas as a product and donate them to elementary schools.
What a surprise! We have already scheduled workshops at two local schools, libraries and restaurants!
Our artwork (seen below) will be displayed during NFT NYC in New York City!
We will be at the NFT NYC event this spring, wearing noggles, meeting various people and reporting on the event!
Not only that, but we will be delivering a video in conjunction with World Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd!
On April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day, which is designated by the United Nations, we will wear Blue Noggles and deliver our report while touring the Empire State Building, which will be lit up with blue lights, and other locations!
We were previously funded by Nouns Prop House in relation to the Pray for Peace Collection. On this trip we plan to visit a NYC based university and present on this experience/collection.
As a report on our activities, we will take pictures of us introducing Nouns DAO and the Pray for Peace Collection that we have realized through Nouns in Japan to teachers and students during the school term, and report back with photos on social networking sites, etc.
Note: We are currently in talks with a local professor and will announce on Twitter as soon as it is decided where the event will be held.
Total: 42,733 USDC
Compensation (Tagawa, Director, Interpreters, Local Staff): 21,300 - Tagawa, Director, Interpreters, Local Staff - Includes local meal expenses of 100 per day - Includes childcare costs of 200 per day while travelling Airfare: 7,440 Accommodation: 6,313 Car Rental: 3,400 Other Expenses (Painting materials, etc.): 3,080 Gratuities (Venue Rental, etc.): 1,200
That is all. Thank you for reading to the end. We would like to ask for your help to make this project a reality.
Last but not least, what is important is "the process, not the result".
I am most grateful to be able to take on this challenge in itself.
Please accept my best regards. Stay Nounish‼️
