Gnars proposes a strategic migration from Ethereum mainnet to Zora Network in our pursuit to bring a million shredders onchain. Since launching with 69 ETH over 16 months ago, we've evolved into a dynamic, Nounish DAO, empowering action sportspeople through communal funding, collective creation and shared proceeds.
We're primed to deploy the GNARS playbook (as depicted above) and integrate Nouns intimately into our subcultures, leveraging our Goodwill, Network, Advocacy, Releases, and Serendipity (hypercycle).

Gnars is a strong force in the Nouns ecosystem, and they have been really active in promoting the brand with great energy! Skating and surfing are the most nounish sports imo and a perfect match for nouns.
Note: We should set an example in how our onchain props are written, and I agree with Seneca that this one needs a little more clarity and structure regarding the deliverables. For this kind of amount, we need a timeline, team members representing different tasks, a list of local skateparks/locations you plan to work with...
I still support Gnars in its messy energy and trust that they will bring interesting things to nouns. (Also If you need 3D renderings, or 2D drawings for the skateparks, happy to help.)

candidly, i'm all in for funding anything gnars does. echoing seneca here, i'm after the basics: who's doing what, and how's it getting done. not asking for a novel, just a clear game plan. every proposal sets a tone, and as much as i trust gnars, gotta hold this to the same standard as any other.
While the requested amount is large, Gnars has been an active participant in the Nouns ecosystem for a significant amount of time. In addition, the funds requested for Gnars's operations are reasonable, with the vast majority going to skatepark improvements.
I would +1 Seneca and also wish that this prop was restructured to be a bit less "kitchen sink." I hope that other proposers who are considering similar initiatives break their proposals out into separate items that could be funded individually.

while gnars has done a fantastic job as a community - i'm voting against this version of the prop to request for a better structured prop.
i want to fund gnars, nounish skateparks, their operations and beyond but this prop does not give me confidence in who, what or how exactly any of this is being accomplished.
if it does not pass, please consider reproposing. good luck!
History here warrants a lower amount and continued monitoring of effectiveness of any ETH the DAO sends to Gnars DAO. Future funding coming as past funding deployed demonstrably well. 50 ETH would be my recommendation.
I support Gnars and Gami; nouners from Season 1 always building, onboarding and proliferating

I like Gnars and how they have been actively pulling their community members together in creative ways since the beginning and probably are the only few prominent nouns subDAOs at the moment. +1 to everything Noun40 said as well. Love the lofty goal of bringing million shredders onchain!
What I dislike about the specific prop:
Denomination in ETH while ETH goes through an interesting volatile period at the moment. When requested in larger sums, it can have material $ impact operationally (for e.g. ETH dropping 100$ a matter of days and a request for 200ETH is a 20k delta. I am assuming Gnars is aware of that risk and funding any differential out of pocket. I really wish this was requested in USDC instead of vague lump-sum ETH denominated ask.
Assuming Nouns is funding the OpEx mentioned here, what is the timeline behind it? Is it done over course of a month, 6 months, a year? Not having clarity on that front makes it unclear what the run-rate really is for the subDAO.
Many Nouners will likely not backchannel asking for details like that if its missing in the proposal and its good practice to include it wherever possible. Not opposed to funding Gnars, but I will be no on this specific one for my above mentioned reasons.
I understand this will pass anyways, but something to consider for future Gnars proposals.

gnars delivered a lot in the past 16 months especially considering that they only received 69 ETH in funding from us. it's time we amplify their efforts further with additional funding.
I'm also very happy that 3 quarters of the 200 ETH funding will go to skate park improvements and building nouns themed sculptures. the noggles opstacle is really iconic and to the extent that we can have it installed a lot more places (tastefully and with agreement from the local community!) I'm very supportive.
