Nouns x Pokémon UNITE ⌐◨-◨
TLDR: ⌐◨-◨
We are the Nouns Pokémon UNITE team Proposal 91; the longest-standing esports team under the Nouns banner. With a proven track record of competitive success, we have solidified Nouns as a household name within the Pokémon UNITE community. This recognition has introduced the broader Pokémon community to Nouns, helping bridge the gap between traditional gaming fans and the innovative world of web3.
We are seeking 55,000 USDC from the DAO to fund our journey through the 2024-2025 Pokémon UNITE Season. The team has already self funded a trip to Brazil in November, to check out the newly released Nouns House, and represent Nouns at the Latam American International Championships for Pokémon.
Our ultimate goal is to claim the title of Pokémon World Champions while continuing to proliferate the Nouns brand globally.
How the Funds Will Be Used:
- Player Salaries: Supporting our team members so they can focus on competing and creating content.
- Travel and Lodging: Covering costs for three major international events (EUIC, NAIC, and Worlds).
- Content Creation: Expanding our reach with educational and entertaining Pokémon content that connects with fans.
- Community Engagement: Incentivizing and onboarding Pokémon fans into the Nouns ecosystem through initiatives like contests, rounds, tournaments & giveaways.
Success Metrics:
- Winning or placing highly in the 2024-2025 Pokémon UNITE Season, including Worlds.
- Growth in social media and content metrics, reflecting increased community engagement.
- Tangible impact in bridging the Pokémon fanbase with Nouns and web3 initiatives.
- Positive feedback and participation in Nouns-aligned projects from the Pokémon community
WTF is Pokémon Unite?

Showmatch in Nouns House, Brazil
We had the pleasure to be welcomed at the Nouns House in San Paulo (https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/630) where we enjoyed an intense showmatch against one of the best teams in Brazil, Dreammax-esports.
TheBower, JP and PlayDNA covered all our needs for the showmatch and gave us the best setup we have ever played on! The showmatch and stream were a complete success and everyone had a blast. We were delighted to be able to meet PlayDNA and to be one of the first to enjoy the Nouns House.

How we help to proliferate Nouns
Community Engagement and the Nounish Spirit
We mainly engage with our communities online, all of our players are content creators, and we are well known in the community.
Our social media networks together have around 40,000 followers on X, more than 70,000 on Youtube and over 75,000 on Twitch!
We teach our audience the values that Nouns stand for, as well as promoting NounsGG initiatives and other personal ideas we have for proliferation, like meet and greets, giveaways, contests, tournaments and more ideas to come.
In November we also joined Flows to represent Nouns.gg as streamers, and are actively looking for ways to get people engaged in Flows in suitable ways for them.
Guiding into the web3 and Nouns ecosystem
Our next steps are to guide our audience to the opportunities that Nouns can bring to them. We have plans to help people in our communities understand the basics of the crypto world and take advantage of the opportunities that are out there!
We believe that we are good candidates to do so because we started from the same place, where we did not understand anything about the crypto world before being welcomed by Nouns and so we can put ourselves in the place of our audience perfectly.
The team has also begun to get more involved with governance in Nouns. Adesu has joined the Nouncil as an active member, and we have been delegated a Noun by Nouns.gg via a round, to allow us to participate in a greater way.
The team discusses the proposals together in our discord server, and give our thoughts and decide which way to vote on the Nouncil and with our newly delegated Noun.
Budget Spread November 2024 - August 2025
- Team salaries (6 players for 10 months): 30,000 USDC
- Traveling to Majors and Worlds: 15,000 USDC. Traveling budget for 6 people for 5-7 days travels from Europe. The destinations are London, New Orleans and Anaheim, having a budget of 833 USDC for accommodation+flights per travel.
